26-006 the City of Montrose is planning to replace and widen the 6700 Road bridge over Cedar Creek. The existing bridge is only 24 feet wide, is experiencing corrosion failures of the decking, and an emergency project is currently underway to address corrosion and deformation the southern abutment’s H-piles. The existing bridge’s span is approximately 19’-6” and the bridge was constructed with H-pile/timber abutments supporting steel girders and steel decking capped with hot mix asphalt. No elements of the bridge are salvageable. bids due 4/16/2026
