communications 1: 3/3/2026 Los Alamos County has removed the Intent to Bid requirement for this project. Offerors may submit bids by the established deadline without prior notification of intent. All other IFB requirements remain unchanged

#5 – AllowancesSince base bid items 3 and 4 and alternate bid items 1.2 and 1.3 are allowances shouldn’t there be an owner-provided dollar amount for these items?  Please reference Addendum #2 which has been uploaded to the Bonfire Portal in regards to your question.

IFB26-37          The project consists of the replacement of approximately 6,700 linear feet of existing 14-inch steel water transmission line installed in 1949 along NM-502. Due to age-related deterioration and frequent leaks, the existing pipeline will be replaced with a new 14-inch ductile iron pipe. This line is a critical transmission main conveying water from Otowi Well #4 to the Townsite area of Los Alamos.            Bid Due Date: 3/12/2026
