Directed by a committee of WCCA members passionate about the development of the construction industry workforce, Western Colorado Contractors Association (WCCA) leads education efforts based on current and future workforce needs of members and the construction community.

WCCA’s Education Committee meets quarterly and is open to all members.

The Western Colorado Construction Career Day  is a community effort providing 11th-grade students hands on experience with a career in the construction and trades industry.

Scholarships Construction Management

Construction Management

WCCA believes that targeted program scholarships in the community will improve the employee pool for Contractors on the Western Slope of Colorado. Included in the Education Opportunities, the WCCA Construction Management Scholarships through Colorado Mesa University (CMU) are awarded to at least four students attending CMU or CMU TECH. The scholarships are awarded at $625 per semester per student for two consecutive semesters; $1,250 for the school year per scholarship.

Other scholarships may be available for apprenticeships, trainings, and other regional higher education opportunities.
